2009 Course Calendar

This is a 12-month course available as a teleclass or self-study.  This course is divided into 7 modules for you to explore various sections of holistic studies and then bring them together for your own unique experience.  Each module may be take alone and some individual classes may as well with approval by the administrator. 

This course will be offered in 2009 as a one year course in one of two formats.

Format one:  Thursday evenings from 7-8:30pm EST as a Telecourse with materials offered and reading assignments. This segment is closed for 2009; self-study is still available with mentorship - contact us for options.

Format two:  The Self-Study format begins March 2nd, 2009.  The self study format will be offered in MP3 format (other formats may be available as needed, contact us with your requests) with written materials and reading assignments as with the telecourse option. 

All new students will receive a 1 hour teleconference at the beginning and end of the program (2 hours total) with Jenifer Shapiro to discuss their program goals and the final exam. 

NOTE:  The cost of a printed certificate is included in the cost of this program for those who complete it in full.

2009 Telecourse Calendar Format

The Self- Study will follow the same format with the dates beginning Monday, March 2nd and each new module being received by 5pm on Mondays.

Module 1 - Introduction to Holistic Studies

1 month course; January 8th, 15th, 22nd + 1 hour mentor meeting.

Module 2 - The Body - From Yoga and Pilates to Ecstatic Dance and Ritual.

2 month course; February 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th.

Module 3 - Energy - From Reiki and Matrix work to Tapping and Meridian Therapies.

2 month course; April 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, May 7th, 14th, 21st.

Module 4 - The Mind - From NLP and Regression/ Hypnotherapy to Gestalt and Parts Therapies. 

3 month course; May 28th, June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, July 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, August 6th, 13th.

This module offers a Certificate of Completion for Introduction to Mind Therapies for an additional $25.

Module 5 - The Soul Connections - From Shamanism and the Moon to Karma and Destiny.

2 month course; August 20th, 27th, September 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, October 1st, 8th.

Module 6 - Nutrition and Supplements - From vitamins to Homeopathy. 

1 month course; October 15th, 22nd, 29th, November 5th.

Module 7 - Bringing it all Together - The Body, Energy, Mind and Soul connections.

1 month course; November 12th, 19th, 3rd, 10th + 1 hour mentor meeting.
