Recipe for Immune Booster Soup
Allergies, colds and flu's can happen any time of year. Let's boost our immune systems with a powerful soup I've given clients for nearly two decades to keep them healthy and kick out colds FAST!
INGREDIENTS
all Organic please!:
1 large yellow or white onion
1 large or two medium idaho potatoes
1 bunch of chard, collards or kale
2-3 carrots
3 stalks celery (optional)
1/2 teaspoon kosher table salt
HOW TO MAKE IT
Use only the potato skins, chop up the rest too, put into a pot and cover so the water is 2 inches above. Boil purified (not tap, no chlorine or fluoride please) or distilled water, until all is cooked through, a little mushy is ok. Drink all of the broth. This is usually enough for two people - a large cup each. The whole family can eat the veggies after!
Optional: add a few cloves of fresh garlic for extra punch! I also sometimes add zucchini.
