Practice for Connecting to Your Heart
With so much on our minds each day, we often forget to connect to our
hearts. When we aren't connected, it can cause us to be snippy,
cruel and cause fatigue, sadness and isolation.
This
is a practice I like to do to reconnect to my heart quickly, easily and
comfily*(ok, new word, play on comfy, let me know what you
think.)

Sit in a comfortable space and close your eyes.

Feel yourself go to a space within where you recall the feelings
of being a child.

Feel the energy of that inner child come up. Playful and
mischevious and light.

Wiggle your toes and feel the inner smile and giggle of that
little boy or girl. Feel the freedom and open heart of the child
that is within you.

Now become that child and imagine yourself in a field or on a
beach with the energy of that child flowing through you. The energy
and the bliss.

Feel yourself dance, swim, fly and do whatever else helps you
explore the feeling of being that playful child.

Feel yourself begin to spin like a child. Spin and begin to look
upwards at the natural light of the sky and sun. Keep spinning and
focusing on the light and any other colors that come in. Naturally
feel your breath begin to change and a relaxation wash over you.
Feel the peace, it may even surprise you the peace you may feel in
the power of this visualization. Let that energy take you away as
you begin to come back in that feeling of peace and freedom.
